With our Five to Follow Competition starting as of 1st November – full details HERE, we continue with a brief write up on the horses to help or hinder or selections!

5-year-old mare by Kingston Hill out of Mayolynn

Lizzie Rey is a half-sister to our dual-bumper winner Pop Mistress.  She is a fine, big mare who has been given time to mature and has shown promise at home.  She will be aimed at a bumper or two before Christmas before having the option of going hurdling and has the size and scope to jump fences in time.

Shares are available to lease in her, details can be found HERE.

6-year-old mare by Champs Elysees out of Ommadawn

Mattie Ross won a bumper for us last season and was also third in her only novice hurdle run.  With the ground drying up, she was unable to follow up on this solid start to her jumping career.  However she has strengthened up further for a summer break and will benefit from two and a half to three miles over hurdles this winter.  She has the size and scope to go novice chasing in the future.

7-year-old mare by Sans Frontieres out of Cindy’s Fancy

Methodtothemagic showed form in Irish point-to-points and made a pleasing novice hurdle debut for us.  However, she unfortunately had a few niggles last season and made a noise on her next hurdle outing at Chepstow.

She has had a wind operation over the summer and now that she has filled her frame, she will have the option of both hurdles and chases this season.  Always working nicely at home, we are sure her owners’ patience will be rewarded soon with this fine mare.
