Totterdown is declared in the 1.55pm at Lingfield on Thursday – a 0-125 handicap hurdle over two miles.  He has been a legend during his long career and appears in great form at home.  There is plenty of rain forecast and he won’t mind that so let’s hope the meeting goes ahead.

Our new conditional jockey Corey McGivern takes the ride.  Corey has worked for Lucy Wadham and Gordon Elliott in the past and has ridden fifteen winners to date.  He has plenty of experience for his seven pound claim and appears to get on with Totterdown at home.

We also have Sheila Nash entered on Sunday at Huntingdon and Hereford on Monday where the ground should suit her better if the forecast is correct.  Whilst Roody Toody also has an entry at Newmarket on Saturday.  It was great to be able to school a few horses over hurdles this morning and readying the string for dates in November.

Our ‘five to follow’ competition is due to start on Thursday – if you haven’t already done so, please get your entries in.  The more entries, the more the prize money.  Full details HERE
