Urban Champion is declared at Kempton on Wednesday in the one mile maiden stakes run at 6pm.  He appears to have come out of his Doncaster debut well and although on paper it looks a hot race, the experience should do him the world of good.  He is an attractive colt with some size and will definitely improve with age.

Rossbeigh Strand has been entered for Uttoxeter on Saturday in the two and a half mile handicap hurdle.  With softening ground throughout the country that should suit him and he appears in good form at home.

The Breeders Cup at Keeneland was a great one for the Europeans with some fine victories for Godolphin and Coolmore.  Results proving once again that British racing is still as competitive as ever thanks to these two powerful breeding operations.

However Flightline’s victory was a memorable one for both American and world racing.  It is always hard to compare great horses with others but if you view the jockey cam of the race (link below) you will see that Flightline has an unbelievable cruising speed and stamina to boot.   I am sure he will have a merry time at stud.
