Corrany (pictured) is declared in the 9pm at Uttoxeter tomorrow night – a three mile, 0-120 handicap hurdle.  Once again Finn Lambert takes the ride and hopefully he is now dropping down into a grade where he will be competitive.  He appears to have his own thoughts about the game, however he ran on well in the straight last time at Southwell and hopefully we can build on that performance.

Corrany is owned by the Carbine Club of London syndicate and I will not be able to attend Uttoxeter as I will be joining them in the Long Room at Lords for their annual lunch.  Looking forward to an afternoon of tribute for the great Shane Warne.  The home of cricket is always a very special place to be and let us hope Corrany is just as sporting as his owners in the evening.

A top class Eclipse on Saturday proving that the three-year-olds are a good crop with a victory for the French Derby winner.  Mishriff ran a game race in defeat and looks teed up for an excellent summer.  Whilst I look forward to Bay Bridge eventually stepping up in trip.
