With our Five to Follow Competition starting as of 1st November – full details HERE, we continue with a brief write up on the horses to help or hinder or selections!

ROSSBEIGH STRAND

7-year-old gelding by Mahler out of Could Do

Rossbeigh Strand likes to run up with the pace on soft ground and is an excellent jumper.  Having made a very pleasing seasonal debut last season at Chepstow, he was not able to find his right conditions which has meant he has an attractive handicap mark for both novice handicap hurdles and chases this season.

RUN ROSIE RUN

6-year-old mare by Native Ruler out of No Compromise

Rosie is a home-bred who has grown into a fine, attractive mare.  She ran a very pleasing race in her final bumper at Southwell and will go novice hurdling this season.  She has always shown talent on the gallops and will hopefully repay her owner/breeder’s patience.

TOTTERDOWN

11-year-old gelding by Pasternak out of Yeldman Lady

Totterdown has always had plenty of ability having won several hurdle races.  He has had time off with an injury but appears in good form now and will run over hurdles and fences this season and he loves soft ground.
