Rossbeigh Strand travelled well until the straight at Chepstow yesterday but unfortunately made a gurgle three out and Tom Bellamy let him come home in his own time.  He will now have a soft palate operation which will hopefully solve the problem as he has shown plenty of talent in his previous races.  He jumped very well and will still hopefully make a decent chaser once we have ironed out this problem.

Elfride (pictured) runs at Exeter tomorrow in the 2.10pm – her first handicap.  With her handicap mark it will be difficult to get into races so we are taking this opportunity however the ground may be softer than she likes.  She will wear a tongue strap for the first time and once again Finn Lambert rides.

A great weekend for syndicates which can only be a positive for the sport.  There is a danger that with all the larger yards winning the top races that racehorse ownership is perceived as for the select few.  However there have been some very high profile winners for some larger syndicates recently which is hugely positive for the sport.
