Rossbeigh Strand makes his chase debut at Southwell today in the two and a half mile handicap run at 2.18pm with Finn Lambert onboard.  He has schooled well at home having always had the make and shape of a chaser.  We have been looking for better ground for him and hopefully it will ride on the good side as he has had wind issues in the past.

Mattie Ross runs at Uttoxeter tomorrow in the 3.59pm – a three mile conditional jockeys handicap hurdle with Finn onboard.  Although we have been searching for better ground for her, this race looked the weakest of her options and we are keen to step her up in trip.  She has won on soft ground and hopefully will cope with conditions and be competitive.

Shibuya Song jumped and travelled well at Stratford on Sunday before being outpaced.  She stayed on well and appreciated the drying ground.  We will look for another opportunity for her in the next few weeks and look forward to her stepping up in trip in the future.
