Sheila Nash is declared in the three miles mares handicap hurdle at Worcester tomorrow run at 4.30pm.  There are seven runners with a number of the opposition in very good recent form.  However Sheila has had a wind operation since her last race and hopefully this will bring about an improvement and she also has very good course and distance form.

Roody Toody is declared in the seven furlong fillies maiden at Newmarket on Saturday run at 4.15pm.  She showed promise on her debut at Kempton recently and although this is a hot maiden, we look forward to her building on that experience and once again Kaiya Fraser is in the saddle.

Yesterday I was delighted to attend the Heros supporters lunch at North Farm Stud in Oxfordshire.  I am privileged to be a Trustee of this great charity which as many of you will know, brings retired racehorses together with young people in order to provide education and careers for those who don’t necessarily suit the usual educational system.

The charity is going from strength to strength and yesterday was a thank you to the many supporters they have and to explain what Heros future plans are.  A hundred and thirty guests were treated to a tour, a fantastic lunch and some passionate presentations and videos.

It was an inspirational day and we all look forward to Heros future under the incredible leadership of Grace Muir (pictured) who spoke so passionately about the journey that the charity has been on since it’s creation some seventeen years ago.
