Elfride jumped and travelled well at Ludlow on Tuesday before getting outpaced in the final third of the race.  With the frost and snow, the ground was pretty tacky and I am sure she will appreciate handicap company and some better ground and will become competitive for her enthusiastic owners.

Methodtothemagic was outpaced on the quickish ground at Taunton yesterday and we will now step her up to three miles. She jumps well and we also have the option of going chasing with her and again she should be competitive once she gets her favoured conditions.

We have entries for Boxing Day with Bluenose Belle at Wolverhampton and Rossbeigh Strand and Alright Chap in at Huntingdon.  Whilst Totterdown is entered at Leicester next Wednesday.  Hopefully conditions will suit as they all appear in good form.

Like many in the country, a number of the team have been suffering from bad colds and related symptoms over the last few weeks including the trainer himself.  However last night’s staff Christmas party went ahead and everyone enjoyed a relaxing evening with plenty of humour for our great team at the Horse and Groom in Upper Oddington.
