Tulane found the track a bit too sharp at Wolverhampton and will probably be more suited by Kempton where he has won.  Would love to run him on the turf if we had a bit of rain, as he travelled very well until getting outpaced in the straight.

Off to Stratford today for the 7.30pm race with Lady Of Authority in the novices handicap hurdle.  Whilst tomorrow, Keep It Brief (pictured) runs in the 4.10pm at Nottingham – a mile and three quarter handicap.

David Probert has been booked to ride and hopefully the step up in trip will suit him and also hoping the ground won’t be too fast.  Having won on the all-weather for us last summer, he had some decent form on the flat and all being well, he will be back on track having had a break.  He has an attractive handicap mark over hurdles should we have some rain.

Great Star has been declared for the bumper at Huntingdon on Monday evening.  This son of Dylan Thomas is a very athletic type who has shown promise at home.  Hopefully he will transfer his homework to the track for his patient owner June Watts.
