We have two runners at Stratford tomorrow with Willow Edge (pictured) in the two mile mares maiden hurdle and The Last Drop in the three and a quarter mile handicap hurdle.  Both are competitive enough events however Willow Edge has always shown a lot of ability at home and will hopefully show some promise.  Whilst The Last Drop appears to have plenty of stamina and is a tough type who will hopefully again show she is competitive in such races.  With Finn Lambert injured, Harry Bannister takes the ride on both.

Elfride ran a pleasing race last night at Exeter in the three mile handicap hurdle, staying on after the last on ground that would not be ideal.  She jumped very fluently and we will now school her over fences again and try and find a race at Worcester for her in the hope the pace of a chase will suit her better.
