With a break in jump racing, we won’t have many runners over the next few weeks.  However hopefully Organdi, Sheila Nash, Methodtothemagic and Corrany can continue to be competitive over the next few months.

Most of the string are now back in work building up for the season ahead, whilst our small but select flat string including Shibuya Song and Fighting Poet have entries both this week and next.

I was lucky enough to attend Goodwood on Thursday when the weather was at its best, although the ground produced some unusual results.  It is still the prettiest course in the world and there is no finer place to be when the sun is shining.

It was great to welcome Valuable Asset’s owners to the gallops on Saturday morning headed by Grace Muir.  Their four-year-old comes from an excellent family and we look forward to their patience being rewarded.  Grace bred the horse along with Rosemary Greener at North Farm Stud near Wantage where the excellent charity Heros is based thanks to Grace’s enthusiasm and determination.
