Iron Horse (pictured) ran an excellent second at Leicester on Thursday.  Given a fine ride by Tom Bellamy, he jumped fluently before making a slight error at the last but ran on well to be beaten by a well handicapped horse.  Hopefully we can think about going back over fences with him now and he will reward the patience of his enthusiastic owners.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Adlestrop Club quiz on Friday evening.  Thanks to Charlie Allan’s excellent questions, a lot of fun was had.  We raised money for Heros thanks to the generosity of Brian Duckett who donated his equestrian art and racing books to the cause.

Tulane has been retired from racing and was collected by our former assistant Hannah Gregory on Saturday to begin his new career.  Tulane has provided us with a lot of entertainment since being purchased at the breeze up sales and has always been a popular character.  Being a handsome horse, I am sure he will do well in many spheres and thanks to Hannah for giving him a happy, loving home.  He was reunited with his old neighbour, Shadow Walker – who Hannah also rehomed a while ago and we will follow their progress with great interest.
