We have two runners at Brighton today with Fighting Poet running in the 7.05pm and Dora Vita in the 7.37pm.  Poet has won three times at the track and is stepping up in trip in this classified event.  Whilst Dora is also going up in trip and will be ridden patiently from behind on this occasion.  Sean D Bowen takes the ride on both.  The temperature will be very hot but hopefully they will both manage the conditions.

We have decided not to declare Manton Road for Ffos Las tomorrow following his pleasing Wolverhampton run.  Whilst Baron Wagstaff and Six Blue are both entered later in the week.

Aajej travelled along with the runner up at the rear of the field for much of the Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot on Saturday.  However Kieran Shoemark reported that he failed to settle over the trip and unfortunately pulled up lame after the race but hopefully he will recover well.

It was great to welcome Miskia (pictured) to the yard on Saturday morning.  She is the winner of two AQPS bumpers in France and has been bought by The C Level Partnership who had much success with Lesser.  This four-year-old daughter of Martinborough is an exciting prospect and Cheltenham is very much part of the plan.
