Tulane is declared in the 1.30pm at Lingfield tomorrow.  Although it is a drop back in trip, as it is a 0-50 classified we thought he should take his chance and hopefully he will have come on fitness wise for his run last week.  Being an apprentice handicap, Georgia Dobie has been booked to ride who has ridden Tulane in his earlier career.  Hopefully he will give the Adlestrop Club a pleasing run and a good day out.

We have a few entries to make next week for Organdi and Corrany but other than that, we are busy getting the string ready for their autumn campaigns.

Delighted to attend the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe yesterday.  I attended to represent the National Trainers Federation as they had jointly sponsored with ROR, an event for former racehorses that have gone on to show their prowess at eventing.  It was great to showcase one of the many ways that racehorses can be retrained to do other careers once their racing days are over.

News last week that Overbury Stud are to stand Derby winner Golden Horn.  A brilliant racehorse who has bred some decent flat horses, although late maturing – will now become a dual-purpose stallion who I am sure will be a big hit with both flat and jump breeders in Britain.
