Urban Champion was a non-runner at Wolverhampton last night as unfortunately he got cast in his box.  Very disappointing as we were looking forward to stepping him up in trip now that he appears to settle better in his races.  Hopefully we can find a similar opportunity for him soon.

Due to the heavy rains we decided not to declare Mattie Ross or Lizzie Rey in their races this week as the going will be far too testing.  However there are other opportunities for them on Mondy and Tuesday and hopefully the rain will relent.  We also have entries for Sun Tracker and Shibuya Song at the weekend.

We had a pleasing work morning today and its great to see so many of the string bright, fit and happy on what was a gorgeous morning.

All at Adlestrop stables are thrilled that Vicki Boyle-Atkins has been shortlisted in the rider/groom category in this year’s Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards.  As many will know, Vicki is an exemplary employee – always smiling, enthusiastic and ultra-reliable.  She would be a very worthy winner of the award and we wish her the best of luck.
