Bluenose Belle pulled a bit too hard in her second hurdle race at Southwell on Monday but despite this ran a pleasing fourth in the maiden hurdle. On the whole she jumped well and will hopefully continue to progress on better ground and learning to relax a bit more during the race.
Mostly Mozart showed he was in need of a break having never really travelled when stepping up in trip at Wolverhampton. Having only raced on the all-weather he will now have a short holiday before coming back for the turf season during the summer.
It was great to attend the Carbine Club Cheltenham preview last night at the Oxo Tower. Many of the great and good of the sport were in attendance and the evening was hosted by the ever professional Nick Luck. With a few of our owners being members of this sporting club, it is always great to catch up and a nice sum was raised for the Injured Jockeys Fund.
