Elfride ran a pleasing fourth at Exeter on Monday. She travelled at the back of the field off a strong pace before making progress before the straight. She stayed on despite getting a bit tired in the last couple of furlongs and will benefit from this run.
Hopefully we will find a less competitive event for her in the future on a flatter track. We look forward to her continuing to give her syndicate plenty of fun this season.
Sheila Nash jumped and travelled well at Hereford yesterday before getting outpaced and staying on again after the last hurdle. She looks in good form at the moment but it looks as though the ground will go against her in the coming weeks and she may now have a break before returning in the spring.
Sun Tracker is declared at Wolverhampton tomorrow in the 8.30pm. he will be making his debut for us having shown promise in France as a three-year-old. This son of Bated Breath has strengthened for some time off and we look forward to finding out a bit more about him after this run with Liam Keniry onboard.
Our beautiful village is hosting an Auction of Promises on Friday evening in aid of the Red Cross, Heros, Adlestrop church and village hall. For those unable to attend, the auction lots are listed below. Please do email us your bids if you would like to support the evening.
