Methodtothemagic ran very well at Southwell yesterday to finish third behind the well handicapped favourite.  The ground was a bit on the soft side for her but she ran on well up the straight and considering she was giving plenty of weight away following her nine pound increase for her previous victory – she put up a pleasing performance.  We will hopefully look for some better ground for her in the coming months.

We have declared both Sheila Nash and Shibuya Song for tomorrow.  Sheila is in at Worcester in the amateur rider handicap hurdle run at 5.07pm.  Izzie Marshall has been booked to ride and hopefully they won’t have any more rain but she appears in good form following her excellent third at the track recently.

Shibuya Song ran well over a shorter trip at Newbury last time out and she returns to the Berkshire track over further and on softer ground on Thursday.  A competitive event, we have booked Georgia Dobie to ride who claims three pounds.  She appears to have gone well for female riders in the past and Georgia is an excellent rider who has ridden winners for us before.
