Dora Vita makes her debut at Wolverhampton this evening in the 6pm – a seven furlong fillies restricted novice stakes.  She is a half-sister to plenty of winners and has shown promise at home but as ever, it is a competitive division.  Callum Hutchinson takes the ride who is based with the Baldings and his father Wayne, rode plenty of winners for us.  Hopefully she can show promise on the track for the Aspirationals syndicate who have shown plenty of patience with her.

Elfride runs at Uttoxeter tomorrow in the handicap hurdle over three miles run at 1.13pm.  She has won over course and distance in the past and Harry Atkins takes the ride claiming seven pounds.  She ran well on her recent comeback run at Exeter and appears in good form at home.

Agent Argylle (pictured) showed plenty of promise in the bumper at Wetherby on Saturday and came into contention in the straight off a slow pace.  He stayed on well to be beaten just over seven lengths by the useful winner.  We look forward to him developing into a staying hurdler and chaser in the future and he looks a useful prospect.

Smile Back ran a gallant second to a very well handicapped winner at Leicester on Sunday.  Settling well up with the pace, she stayed on in the straight and will benefit for a step up in trip in future.  It was great one of her owners, Karen Anderson, was able to make the trip over from the US to see Smile and Tech That run.

Hidden Target was a decent fourth in a hot novice hurdle at Doncaster yesterday.  Having finished fourth on his debut at Chepstow, he is now entitled to a handicap mark which will increase his options in the future.  Softer ground would suit him and we look forward to finding him a suitable opportunity in the New Year.

Tech That dropped back in trip at Doncaster and finished the race galloping which was our intention having faded on his comeback run at Uttoxeter.  He looked outpaced early on and we may well step him back up in trip and ride him more prominently in future but it was good to get him back on track as he has shown useful and bumper and hurdle form in the past.
