Fighting Poet ran creditably at Lingfield yesterday and Sean D Bowen recommended we try him over a bit further on the all-weather as he was staying on well in the straight.  We will aim him for Southwell in a few weeks time as it is a track he was placed on in the past.  He continues to give the Adlestrop Club plenty of fun and by the look of his behaviour in the paddock this morning, he is not ready for a holiday quite yet.

On Saturday we had an owners morning with breakfast rolls enjoyed before watching the horses on the gallops.  It was great to have such a good turnout and look forward to many of the string making appearances soon now we have had some rain.

We have entries at Uttoxeter on Friday for Smile Back, Tech That, Swift Jet and The Last drop.  Hopefully some rain will come in time to make the ground safe.  We have also entered Sumatran Tiger and Smile Back at Huntingdon on Sunday.  Plenty of horses are having haircuts ready for their racecourse appearances.
