Bluenose Belle ran an excellent second at Ludlow yesterday on ground that was far from ideal.  Settling towards the back of the field, she travelled and jumped far better on the nicer ground on the outer and challenged in the straight only to be beaten by a well handicapped winner.  She will come on a bit for this run and hopefully we can find some nicer going for her next outing.

We decided to take Sumatran Tiger out of the mares novices handicap hurdle as the ground was deteriorating during the afternoon and we will consider her entry at Doncaster on Friday.

Hopefully Little Big Kev (pictured) will run with credit following a break at Market Rasen tomorrow in the 12.50pm.  We also have Neeps And Tatties running in the mares novices hurdle at Uttoxeter on Thursday.  She showed promise in her bumper debut at Hereford but returned with a stress fracture, however she appears to enjoy her jumping and if settling well, she should repay her owner’s patience this season.
