With ridiculous amounts of rain, Shibuya Song will not take up her engagement at Warwick today as she prefers good to firm ground ideally.  Hopefully the ground will dry out soon to give her an opportunity to follow up on her Worcester win.

Roody Toody will be stepping up in trip following her run at Wolverhampton yesterday.  Rab Havlin said she was out of her comfort zone early on but ran all the way to the line and hopefully the step up in trip will do the trick.

I had an enjoyable visit to Jersey at the weekend to support owner Bunny Robert’s charity golf day in aid of Racing Welfare.  It was great to be joined by J Francome, M Fitzgerald and Rishi Persad in supporting the day.  The fundraising was better than the golf but all had an enjoyable time and once again Bunny showed great energy in bringing together an excellent day for an excellent cause.
