Mostly Mozart was an excellent second at Wolverhampton last night – behaving far better in the stalls and travelling strongly in behind the leader before staying on in the straight. His owner Adam Jeavons has been very patient with him and we look forward to him getting his head in front for him in the not too distant future.
Neeps And Tatties settled a bit better being ridden a bit more prominently in the two mile novices hurdle before being outpaced in the straight by some well-regarded opposition. Hopefully she will learn to settle better with more racing and we will look for a race for her in the new year and look forward to her being in handicaps after her next run.
Swift Jet jumped extremely well until making a novicey mistake at the nineth. Hopefully he will be okay and we can find another chase for him in the new year as he obviously has the size and scope to be successful in this sphere.
Plenty of entries coming up between Christmas and the New Year and hopefully a few chances amongst them.
Wishing a Merry Christmas and successful New Year to all!
