Roody Toody steps up to a mile at Kempton tomorrow in the 8pm. Once again she will be ridden by Rab Havlin who recommended the increase in trip and hopefully this will bring about an improvement in her performance.
The evening is sponsored for Heros – the great charity of which I am a Trustee and hopefully lots of money will be raised thanks to the generosity of those attending with Heros patron Harry Redknapp among the guests.
At Southwell on Thursday we have Shibuya Song declared in the 5.10pm – a three miles handicap hurdle. Having won at Worcester last time out we have been looking for decent ground and hopefully despite the rain the ground will be good to firm in places as predicted.
With Finn Lambert unable to ride having ridden too many winners, Oscar Palmer is onboard. Oscar is attached to Alan King’s yard and has ridden for us in the past and hopefully will once gain have a good ride on Shibuya Song as she appears in good form in at home. However the race looks competitive as others are searching for better ground like ourselves.
