Flying Dragon found the ground was too much on the easy side at Newbury on Friday but hopefully the handicapper will reassess him and we can find a race on more suitable ground in the next few weeks. A step up in trip should suit him and he really does like top of the ground. I am sure he will give his owners The Dreamers, plenty to shout about this summer.
Like many in the jumping world, this week I am attending Goffs UK sales at Doncaster, re-stocking for the season ahead. Delighted with our two purchases yesterday – both three-year-old geldings.
One is by Sans Frontieres and is a half-brother to Deploy The Getaway and the other is a son of Malinas from the family of the very talented Stoney Mountain. Both look quality additions to the yard and please do get in touch if you fancy a share or two in these potential stars.
