We have four runners at Uttoxeter tomorrow with Smile Back, Tech That, Swift Jet (pictured) and The Last Drop.  Smile Back runs in the mares maiden hurdle at 12.25pm.  She won a bumper for us at Carlisle last season and has shown promise over hurdles but needs to learn to settle and will wear a hood tomorrow.  Hopefully this race will put her straight for the season ahead.

Tech That is declared in the two-and-a-half mile novices hurdle at 1.55pm.  He ran well in both a bumper and a hurdle for us last season before pulling up on his last run when possibly gastric ulcers may have affected him. He has had a good break and looks very much a chaser in the making.

Swift Jet will also make a nice chaser but we intend to give him a run or two over hurdles first and he runs in the two-and-a-half-mile handicap hurdle at 2.30pm. He was placed over three miles last season but this looks the most suitable race available at present with the ground predicted to be safe.

The Last Drop did not finish her race last time out over two and a half miles, therefore we are returning to two miles in the 3.40pm.  She ran well over course and distance in May and hopefully she will finish her race well on this occasion.
