Dora Vita was only beaten six and half lengths at Kempton last night and appears to have progressed since her last run. Hopefully once in handicap company she will be more competitive as she is a half-sister to plenty of winners and looks the type to create a lot of fun this summer for her owners. Dora is a very popular horse in the Adlestrop string and behaved very professionally throughout yesterday’s proceedings. We look forward to this daughter of Dream Ahead getting her head in front in the not too distant future.
With both Bluenose Belle and Little Big Kev preferring good ground, Market Rasen on Sunday looks doubtful for them. Bluenose Belle has options next week on the all-weather at Wolverhampton and Kempton, whilst Little Big Kev has entries at Kempton on Monday and Ludlow and Huntingdon later in the week.
Also entered at Kempton on Monday is Six Blue who will hopefully find some better going in the bumper with top amateur James King booked to ride. A daughter of Blue Bresil went for a gallop at the track a few weeks ago and goes nicely at home and we look forward to her next outing.
The Dublin racing festival this weekend looks to have many pointers for Cheltenham in March. Although the ground will probably be a lot different this weekend than it will be at Prestbury.
