Organdi found the ground too soft for her at Southwell on Tuesday due to some heavy showers in the afternoon.  However she showed her normal toughness in finishing fourth and Sam Twiston-Davies said that considering how ground dependant she is, her attitude is exemplary.  We look forward to the handicapper adjusting her mark and finding more suitable ground in the coming months.

With the handicap hurdle at Market Rasen looking competitive on Saturday, we will now aim Methodtothemagic for Southwell on Tuesday as she is a course and distance winner.  Once again hopefully there won’t be too much rain as she likes a sound surface.  The handicapper put her up nine pounds for her comprehensive victory but hopefully she will give her patient owners more excitement back at the track.

Delighted to attend Heros at North Farm Stud near Wantage yesterday for their student graduation awards.  Once again the Adlestrop Club donated the prizes.  Marcus Armytage presented this year’s awards and has been a long-time supporter of the charity along with myself.  It was great to see members of the Adlestrop Club in attendance supporting the occasion and seeing the great work that the charity does.

We are looking forward to this years annual Adlestrop Club charity cricket match which will be held on 27th August at 2pm at Adlestrop Cricket Ground.

A Phillips XI will take on the local team for the Adlestrop Ashes and once again the match will be in memory of our former colleague Luke Watson and we are raising money for Racing Welfare.

Please do come along if you can.  There will be a cash bar and a brilliant raffle and auction.
