Smile Back (pictured) runs today in the 3.15pm at Huntingdon, the 2 ½ mile mares maiden hurdle.  Having won her only point-to-point and her bumper at Carlisle, she disappointed in a Listed bumper at Market Rasen.  However she has schooled well at home and hopefully will continue to show promise on her hurdling debut.  Finn Lambert takes the ride and we are delighted that her owners, the Somedays Here Partnership, have flown over from the USA to see her run.

Swift Jet ran a pleasing third in the maiden hurdle at Ludlow yesterday.  Sam TD reported he was a bit keen in the early stages but jumped well on the whole, has an excellent attitude and would have finished the race a bit better had he settled.

Swift Jet was quite inexperienced compared to his opposition and Sam thought he would make a nice chaser next season.  We were delighted to have a runner in this race which was run in memory of Luke Watson who was a member of our team here in Adlestrop.

Lizzie Rey does not jump as well on the track as she does at home and Finn Lambert reported that had she jumped better she would have been more competitive.  However having had a wind operation, she ran all the way to the line and proper good ground would help.

Mattie Ross disliked the ground at Southwell on Monday and having won on good ground last June, we will look for a more suitable surface.  Whilst Mostly Mozart looks as though he wants to step up in trip having been outpaced in the straight.
