Fighting Poet is off to Brighton again today to run in the mile and a quarter handicap run at 4.05pm.  The ground has dried up since his run there last week and hopefully that will suit him better.  Sean D Bowen once again takes the ride who won on him last year and although it is a competitive race, with a strong pace he should run well.

Some much needed rain is forecast at the weekend and hopefully the string are getting fit enough to make their debuts in a few weeks time once ground conditions suit.  It was a pleasing work morning yesterday and its great to welcome plenty of owners visiting to see their charges taking shape.
