Shibuya Song runs tomorrow in the 4.40pm at Worcester – a three miles novices handicap hurdle.  She showed promise in her last couple of races when staying on well and hopefully the step up in trip will suit her.  Finn Lambert once again takes the ride claiming three pounds and hopefully the track will also be in her favour.  We look forward to her patient owners being rewarded with a positive run in what looks a tricky contest.

Bluenose Belle (pictured) delighted us on Wednesday evening with her excellent second at Kempton in the fillies mile and a half handicap.  Given a fine ride by Silvestre de Sousa, he dictated the pace extremely well and kicked on turning for home and was only caught by the winner in the final furlong.

Having carried top weight it was a pleasing performance and hopefully she can build on this run and we look forward to her going hurdling in the future as well.  She has turned into a fine looking race mare and I am sure her owner Geoff Lansbury will continue to have some excellent days racing with her in the future.
