Fighting Poet (pictured) runs today in the 4.40pm at Brighton – the mile and a half handicap.  He won well on his last visit to the track but ground conditions will be different today with plenty of rain around recently.  However hopefully the ground will have dried out a bit by the time of his race which will certainly improve his chances.  Once again Billy Loughnane takes the ride and we look forward to another competitive run from him.

Roody Toody is declared at Leicester tomorrow in the 5.17pm.  She will hopefully come on for her run last week at Chepstow but would not want too much cut in the ground.  Rab Havlin rides and we look forward to finding out his opinion of her as she has shown enough ability in the past to be competitive in such an event.

Bluenose Belle is declared at Lingfield on Wednesday in the confined handicap.  She ran an excellent second at Kempton recently with Silvestre de Sousa onboard and he takes the ride once again.  She appears in good form since that run and although this is going left-handed and she has a tendency to hang slightly right, the race looks a suitable opportunity for her.

Delighted with the great start to National Racehorse Week throughout Britain and on Saturday we welcomed the charity Box 4 Kids to the yard.  So pleased to see Madi, Ray and Ava engage so well with all the horses which exemplified all that is good about the opportunities National Racehorse Week can give to society.

Looking forward to more events in Adlestrop throughout Britain through to this coming weekend.  Please do celebrate the thoroughbred throughout the week in anyway possible.
