We have made an entry for Sun Tracker (pictured) at Nottingham on Thursday and will take a view tomorrow. He ran with great credit at Wolverhampton last Monday and we are keen to give him a go on the turf before the season ends. There are not many other opportunities on the grass for him so we may give him another run on the all-weather before he starts a hurdling career and he certainly has the ability to win races under both codes.
It was great to come back from Newmarket yearling sales last week with three new ones. A handsome son of Ulysses, a precocious daughter of Dream Ahead and an attractive daughter of Time Test. The Ulysses and Time Test were both bred by Bob and Pauline Scott and from a family I know and have followed closely. We look forward to them continuing the success story of the family.
We are keen to have more flat horses for next season and the daughter of Dream Ahead is a half-sister to five winners including some useful two-year-olds and looks built for speed.
Looking forward to returning to Newmarket next week for the Horses in Training sale. It is a sale we have bought plenty of winners from in the past and hopefully we can find one or two new additions for the yard.
