Fighting Poet runs this evening at Windsor in the 8.20pm – the mile and a quarter handicap.  He will be carrying top weight and Rab Havlin rides.  He has run well for Rab in the past and hopefully he won’t find the ground too fast for him in this contest.  There appear to be a couple of well handicapped horses in the race but it will be interesting to see how he gets on away from his beloved Brighton for The Adlestrop Club.

The Adlestrop Club also have Lizzie Rey running tomorrow in the three mile handicap hurdle at Southwell run at 5.25pm.  She is a course and distance winner and Finn Lambert claims five pounds.  Once again she will wear cheekpieces and hopefully the race will be run to suit her.

In the race before at 4.50pm The Last Drop steps up to two and half miles in the handicap hurdle, once again with Finn onboard.  We were pleased with her comeback run at Uttoxeter recently and hopefully she will appreciate the extra distance.

Thank you to all who came to the Adlestrop Club Open Morning on Saturday.  Forty club members and their friends viewed the horses on the gallops having enjoyed breakfast rolls in the village hall.  Delighted to have encouraged a few new members to the club which is undoubtedly the best value in horseracing.   For more info, please see HERE.

Look forward to attending Goffs Doncaster sales this week as we build up a new team for the coming season.  We have been lucky enough to buy plenty of winners from this sale in the past and look forward to doing so again this week.
