We took Shibuya Song out of her intended race at Newton abbot on Friday due to the soft ground as she does require a sounder surface.   She will now hopefully head to Worcester in July which is a course she won on last year.

Santa Sabina didn’t enjoy the ground at Worcester on Wednesday and lost both front shoes in the race so I think we can put a line through that performance.  We will look for some better ground for her for her next outing.

Fighting Poet (pictured) runs today in the 2.30pm at Chepstow – a mile and a quarter amateur riders handicap.  Delphi Parkinson who has been part of the team at Adlestrop for the last few seasons will have her first ride on him.  Hopefully they will both enjoy themselves in what looks a competitive event.   Looking forward to plenty of Adlestrop Club members being in attendance to support them both.

Congratulations to Grace Muir on receiving a much deserved MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours.  Grace’s devotion, dedication and passion for horse welfare has shone through her development of Heros Charity and the education this provides to young people is inspiring.

Having known Grace for forty years, I know how much this award means to her and I look forward to Heros going from strength to strength under her remarkable leadership.
