Two runners at Carlisle today with Tech That (pictured) running in the 3.05pm – a conditional jockeys handicap hurdle and Smile Back running in the mares handicap hurdle at 4.35pm.  Both ran well on their last visit to the track and it is great that their owners, Eustace and Carol Theodore and Karen Anderson have made the trip over from America to watch them.

Tech That wears cheek pieces for the first time and the form of his last race is working out well, whilst the track will suit Smile Back far better than Taunton where she found the course too sharp.  She wears a hood today on this far more galloping course and hopefully both horses will run competitive races with Finn Lambert onboard.

We have decided to avoid Southwell on Wednesday with The Last Drop and aim her for Plumpton on Monday when hopefully conditions will suit better.   Neeps And Tatties looks on course to run at Huntingdon on Thursday.
