Lesser was purchased at the Tattersalls Cheltenham January sale following his impressive debut win on the 19th January at Ballycrystal. He travelled and jumped very well before staying on strongly after the last and looks a high-class staying prospect.

The horse he beat comfortably into third, has since won impressively by ten lengths franking Lesser’s form.
By leading National Hunt sire Stowaway, this rangy six-year-old is out of the excellent race mare Aine Dubh and is a half-brother to two winners including the talented Dubh Eile.
