We have declared Baron Wagstaff (pictured) in the 4.20pm at Bath on Sunday – the mile and a quarter restricted novice.  There are eight runners with of couple of the opposition having very useful form.  However he appears to have come out of his debut well and the form of the race is working out with both the winner and second performing well since.  Hopefully the ground won’t dry out too much and Kieran O’Neill takes the ride.  We look forward to him developing into a useful colt this season for his patient owner Turrloo Parrett.

Bluenose Belle will not go to Market Rasen on Sunday and has other options next week, whilst Dora Vita will hopefully find a less competitive event that the one she was entered in tomorrow in the coming weeks.

It was great to visit owner Sue Welch yesterday and collect a four-year-old home-bred filly by Dink.  Sue has bred many good horses over the years and we look forward to this filly providing more winners for her family.

Looking forward to the Grand National next week although it’s not quite as exciting not having a runner this year.  Pleased to be attending the great race thanks to the generosity of my owners and although the race has changed somewhat, it is still an exciting sporting occasion.
