Keep It Brief ran creditably yesterday all things considered, in the two mile handicap at Nottingham.  Given a patient ride by Georgia Dobie, he made his move early in the straight before staying on at one pace to be beaten not far for third.  Ideally he could do with a bit more cut in the ground and possibly a bit of headgear and we also have hurdles to consider once the rains do arrive.

Off to Bangor today to saddle Organdi (pictured) and Corrany.  Organdi runs in the competitive three mile handicap chase, whilst Corrany is in the three mile conditional jockeys handicap hurdle.

Organdi unseated her jockey at Uttoxeter last time out but hopefully she will get into a rhythm with her jumping early on and looks to have an each way chance.  The faster the ground the better and hopefully her owners will see her put up another good performance having already won four races for them.

Corrany is gradually coming down the handicap and hopefully conditions will suit him today with Finn Lambert claiming five pounds.

As ever, a great Goodwood festival and sorry not be in attendance this year.  However delighted to see Aristia run such an excellent second in yesterday’s Group One Nassau Stakes for owner Bunny Roberts.
