Sun Tracker (pictured) is declared in the 8pm at Wolverhampton this evening. We were pleased with his comeback run in mid October and hopefully he will come on for that race and appreciate the slight step up in trip. Although only five runners it is a competitive event and Liam Keniry once again takes the ride.
With watering taking place at Southwell and Uttoxeter tomorrow, we have given both meetings a swerve with Swift Jet and Tech That. They both have entries for next week and we will look for some safer ground for them. Tech That showed promise in his point-to-point run in Ireland whilst Swift jet is very much a chasing type who we look forward to giving some experience over hurdles.
The Cheltenham November meeting kicks off today and with safe ground in prospect, it promises to throw up some exciting contests. It was great to attend a Cheltenham Preview last night at the Horse & Groom in Bourton-on-the-Hill where many local trainers and owners were in attendance.
There seems to be some confidence behind certain runners including Potters Charm, Siog Geal and Dysart Enos. Good luck to all as the jumps season really starts to get going.
