Mattie Ross (pictured) runs this evening at Market Rasen in the 8.05pm – a three miles novices handicap hurdle.  She ran well last time out at Uttoxeter and with rain forecast hopefully her stamina will come into play with Finn Lambert onboard claiming three pounds.

Tomorrow we have two runners at Uttoxeter with Methodtothemagic and Shibuya Song.  Magic runs in the three mile novices handicap chase at 6.40pm where hopefully the step up in trip will help her.  She has bled in the past and hopefully a change in her routine will lead to an improved performance tomorrow.  She won over hurdles last year with Finn onboard and certainly has the ability to run well in this event.

Shibuya Song also steps up in trip in the three mile mares novices handicap hurdle at 7.10pm.  She was running on well last time out over two and a half miles at Market Rasen with Finn onboard and although it is a competitive event, she appears in good form at home.

Neeps And Tatties was declared in the mares bumper but unfortunately has pulled a muscle so is now a non-runner.  Hopefully she will be able to make her racecourse debut soon.
