With the vast majority of the horses now back in work, Adlestrop Stables is very busy as we build up the exercise for many of the string.

Fighting Poet is entered at Lingfield on Tuesday in the apprentice classified stakes.  He has run well at the track before and hopefully will put up another exciting run for the Richard Phillips Racing Syndicate.

Delighted to once again attend the Jim Old Golf Day on Monday.  Many of the great and good of racing were there to support one of the most popular fundraisers of the year for the Injured Jockeys Fund.  It was great to be a member of the Baileys Horse Feeds team although we were unable to trouble the judge on this occasion.

Pleased to welcome owner Tom White and his daughter Brooke to the stables on Tuesday.  Tom achieved a lifetime ambition when Methodtothemagic, who he has a share in, bolted up at Southwell recently.  It was a pleasure to show them the mare and the other horses.  We look forward to Tom and his fellow owners’ patience being rewarded more in the future with Magic hopefully ready to run again for them at the end of the month.
