We have declared Fighting Poet and Urban Champion at Southwell tomorrow evening.  Fighting Poet makes his debut for The Adlestrop Club and has been placed on the all weather for us in the past.  Kaiya Fraser who gets on well with him takes the ride and claims five pounds.  He appears in good form although as ever the opposition is pretty strong.

Urban Champion ran well on his last appearance at the track and although once again this is a tricky contest, Clifford Lee takes the ride and hopefully he will build on his last run.

Elfride (pictured) has been declared in the mares handicap hurdle at Chepstow on Saturday.  Harry Atkins takes the ride claiming seven pounds.  Harry rode out for us when he was a young man and his mum Vicki is a key member of the Adlestrop team.  Although Elfride is out of the handicap and it is a strong enough race, she is getting plenty of weight from the opposition.

Looking forward to the Aintree meeting beginning and culminating in the great race itself.  Having studied the form I backed Meetingofthewaters some time ago and hopefully the ground will dry up a bit for him.  Whilst Limerick Lace and Foxy Jacks are also fancies in what looks to be a truly exciting running of the great race.
