Keep It Brief runs in the 6.45pm at Kempton this evening.  As a course and distance winner, hopefully he will have conditions in his favour and show us he is on the way back to form.

We have declared Flying Dragon (pictured) in the 8.20pm at Newbury tomorrow.  The ground is on the soft side and he is stepping up in trip further.  Rab Havlin takes the ride and it will be interesting to see what he thinks of him.   The race may come a bit quick after his recent run at Doncaster where he ran very well, but there are very few other opportunities for him at present.

We have entered Organdi and Mattie Ross at Newton Abbot on Monday and hopefully conditions will suit both mares.

It was great to visit Sue Welch yesterday and see her horses in the field including our wonderful broodmare, Giovanna.  Sue and I along with Brian Duckett have been breeding from Giovanna since she retired from her excellent racing career here at Adlestrop.

It’s great that she bred two winners on the same day at Worcester on Monday, especially as we are breeding from her first foal who is a half sister to both winners.
