Very pleased with Picanha’s performance at Exeter yesterday in the 2 mile 5 novice hurdle.  Although a bit keen early on, he jumped enthusiastically and apart from a couple of novicey mistakes at mid-way, he travelled well on the heels of the leaders turning in before staying on well after the last to finish a promising third against decent opposition.

Having been off the course for quite a while it was a very pleasing effort and hopefully his owner Lizzie Prowting will be rewarded for her patience and we have a lot to look forward to this season and beyond.

We have given Organdi an entry for next week at Hereford as well as at Wincanton on Saturday and she also has other options next week if the ground continues to dry out.  Hopefully she can continue to progress over fences.

On Saturday 13th November, we are holding a morning on the gallops for members of the Adlestrop Club and also to welcome anyone who may be interested in joining one of our new syndicates, the details of which are HERE.

Meeting at 8.30am at Adlestrop Village Hall, we will have refreshments and breakfast sandwiches before watching the horses exercise on the gallops.

It will be an opportunity to view the horses in action, find out more about the new syndicates and The Adlestrop Club and have a tour of the stables.

It should be a lovely way to spend a morning before an afternoon of racing at Cheltenham that day.

If you would like to come along, please book your place as soon as possible.
