A work and schooling morning with Danny Hiskett and Ian Popham in to ride.  We were pleased will all that worked and schooled.  We decided against running our horses that were entered at meetings tomorrow but hopefully ground conditions will suit better next week.

Hannah Bishop took Coyaba and Berkeley Barron to the VWH meet near Cirencester.  Hannah rode Berkeley while Ian Popham rode Coyaba.  Both seemed to have a great time and I’m sure it did them some good too – a day hunting can certainly inspire a racehorse.

It was great to see so many friends at the meet and although I’ve hung up my hunting jacket – it would have been to fun to have been out with them today.

Pricewise turns his attention to the 2000 Guineas in the Racing Post this morning and selects Andre Fabre’s unbeaten Al Wukair.  The favourite Churchill, looks far too short but a dark horse with an entry in the race is Make Time.  I put him on my horses to follow list earlier this year.  He won a maiden at Salisbury very well and where ever he goes, he looks a horse to follow for the coming season.
