Organdi (pictured) runs tomorrow in the two and a half mile handicap hurdle at Taunton with Danny Hiskett onboard. She is a course and distance winner but this will be her first race for a while.
Ultimately she will get further than the two and a half miles but it will be a good starting point for her for the season and we will school her over fences after this run. She is high enough in the handicap but appears in good form at home.
An exciting couple of days for the Beautiful People syndicate, as they also have Beautiful People running at Doncaster on Friday in the three mile handicap hurdle. Hopefully the trip and ground will suit as long as they don’t have too much rain. She has run well fresh in the past and again hopefully she will be schooled over fences after this run.
Dandy Lass looked poised to run on in the straight at Wolverhampton last night but failed to do so, which was disappointing. Rab Havlin suggested we run her from the front with some headgear and hopefully this will bring about some improvement.
