Brave Helios found the ground too much on the soft side at Newton Abbot last night.  He needs it on the firmer side these days to be seen at his best and let’s hope we can find more suitable ground in September.

It was good to have Danny Hiskett in this morning to ride some work as we build up the fitness on many of the string including our smart Canford Cliffs filly, (pictured) who is currently being syndicated.  For details click HERE

Looking forward to an excellent day of racing at York this afternoon.  I have both Churchill and Ulysses in my horses to follow competition and hoping one might be victorious especially if Jim Crowley leaves it very late for his challenge.
