It was great to welcome Jim Wilson to the gallops this morning to see Roundhead go through his paces.  Jim has joined the syndicate along with other legends including Jeff Stelling, Eve Johnson-Houghton, Cornelius Lysaght and Mark Pougatch to support the excellent charity Prostate Cancer UK.  As a Cheltenham Gold Cup winning rider and a Festival trainer, it was good to get Jim’s positive views on our gallop.

Hopefully Roundhead will have his first run for the syndicate at Southwell on Monday.  There are still a couple of shares available so please be in touch if you’d like to join.  Full details HERE.

It was great to welcome Paul Ferguson yesterday, who writes for Weatherbys ‘Jumpers To Follow’.  Whilst in the area, he came to photograph Picanha who will be among this season’s list.  Having won a point to point in Ireland and a bumper for us at Exeter in December, he is a horse full of promise and we look forward to him continuing to show his potential this season.

It’s great to welcome a steady flow of visitors to the yard within government guidelines.   We are encouraging visitors to the stables and also to enjoy our wonderful village.

Delighted to report our village shop and Post Office run by the Price family, now has many wonderful gift items for sale including copies of the famous ‘Adlestrop’ poem, Adlestrop pens, bookmarks, cards, local coffee and jam to name but a few.

Look forward to visitors to Adlestrop Stables, dropping in to the shop.
